With the advent of portable projectors, projectors are gaining more and more attention from young consumers. What we call a projector is just a narrow concept of a digital projector. But the most influential experience is: one is the problem of the light source that draws out the light; the other is the problem of the projection of the projected object or image; this is the problem of expanding the optical path system involved in the projection.
Lighting, imaging, delivering the most impactful experience
Image display is the biggest use of projection. Just like the monitor cares about the display. Others, such as intelligence and sound effects, just simply enhance the added value and portability of the device, so the technical solution for the light source is obvious. Imagery and delivery issues are important to the experience.

The currently used projectors include halogen tungsten lamps (such as incandescent lamps), ultra-high pressure mercury lamps (UHE, UHP), LED light sources, mixed light sources (red and blue LED + green laser), and laser light sources. The light source mainly depends on three parameters: power, spectrum and lifetime.
Power determines brightness. Projectors are used to measure brightness using lumens. Under the same conditions, the greater the lumen value, the greater the luminous power of the light source, and the brighter the image. At present, ANSI lumens and ISO lumens are commonly used in the projector market. The ANSI lumen standard is to take 9 different point values on the screen and take the average. This is the most commonly used standard in the country. Brightness comparisons can be made between products of this nominally different brand. In the main portable low-end products, LED as a light source is a common phenomenon, but it should be reminded that some domestic brands of portable projectors use the so-called 3600 brightness and 4800 brightness instead of lumens, which is actually a non-standard measurement At present, there is no unified standard for each brand, so it can only be used as a distinction between the brightness of each product in a brand, and cannot be compared with other brands horizontally. Moreover, the so-called 3600 brightness may not even be 100 ANSI lumens, so if conditions permit, it is best to experience it if you can buy such a product. Buying based on nominal value may disappoint you.
The spectrum determines the color gamut. The spectrum is the coverage of the wavelengths of the light source. The following are typical spectra of several common light sources:
From the perspective of the synthesis of the three primary colors of light, the light source color gamut from large to small is probably: three-color laser light source, LED light source, UHEUHP, incandescent lamp. Dedicated laser light source, due to its monochromaticity, the laser light source makes the synthetic color gamut of red, green and blue lasers cover more than 150% of the traditional NTSC standard, and the color expression is more than 2 times that of ordinary light sources.
The color gamut coverage of LED light sources is wider than UHEUHP light sources, which actually refers to RGB LED light sources and mixed light sources. In fact, the LED light source used in low-end products may only be white LEDs. In this case, there is no UHEUHP light source with a wide color gamut
